Long Weekends are Wonderful

Three day weekends really do make a world of difference.  More time with the kids, more time for housework and errands, more time to have fun!

Saturday, we went to a local winery for a big picnic to celebrate our good friend Alisa's birthday.  The weather was perfect and the babies were really well behaved!  We were there almost the whole afternoon and they happily rolled around on the blanket and slugged their bottles:)

 Sunday, we pulled out our baby pool for the first time and let them splash around.  We quickly realized that this will be much more enjoyable for all when they can sit themselves (hopefully soon!)  but it was fun nonetheless!

Speaking of sitting, we are making great progress in that department.  They are both easily sitting with support and every once in a while, they can hold their balance for a few seconds!  They are also rolling back and forth like crazy and use this maneuver to get to things they can't reach.

Andrew is definitely going to be our active one, as he is already trying to figure out how to climb out of his bouncy seat.  It is amazing to think just a few months ago, he was way too SMALL for this same chair...

And now we like to lean all the way forward and try to climb out!

Sunday we had a visit from Paige's godfather, DJ.  He is already setting the standards high and teaching Paige bad habits -- he brought her (and Andrew) her first little blue box from Tiffany's!

We are already greatly enjoying the nice weather and are super excited for the summer - although will need lots of sunscreen and hats as we are super pale:)
